SmartestHuman.ai is operated by Rip Build, Inc.(“Rip Build,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The Service is directed to users in the United States.
The one-paragraph honest version: you play a game where you submit questions and images that AI models try to answer. We use your submissions to run the game. If you are 18 or older, images you submit become our property (Terms Section 4) and your content may be included in datasets we license to AI companies, with your account identity stripped out and, for the dataset toggle, only if you opt in. If you are under 18, your content is never licensed, never sold, and your images are never publicly displayed. If you earn rewards, we collect identity and tax information because the law requires it.
1. What we collect
Account information. Email address, username, password (hashed), and age-band declaration. Your age band determines feature eligibility (Terms Sections 1 and 4); provide an accurate declaration. We log your acceptance of the Terms (user ID, timestamp, Terms version) and, for 18+ users, crowd-sharing, reviewer, and dataset choices.
Submissions. Questions, answers, and images you submit, and associated metadata (submission time, scoring results). Uploaded images may contain embedded technical metadata (EXIF, e.g., GPS location, device information); we strip this metadata from images before any dataset inclusion.
Verification and payout information (18+, rewards and commissioned work only). If you become eligible for a payout: government-ID-based identity and age verification (processed by our verification provider), taxpayer information (e.g., Form W-9, which includes SSN/TIN), and payment account details (processed by our payment processor). This is sensitive information; see Section 8.
Usage and device data. IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, gameplay events (submissions, scores, streaks), and similar analytics data, collected via cookies and our analytics provider (Section 6).
Crowd-review data (consenting adults only). Review answers, cannot-determine responses, source and reasoning tags, technical skips, privacy/safety reports, grading evidence, assignment and lease records, and pending credits. You receive the match/no-match result for your own answer. Other member reviewers do not receive your account identity, answer, or individual result.
Accountless play.Daily-challenge features that don’t require an account collect the submission itself plus basic usage data. Accountless submissions are used only to operate the Service and are never included in licensed datasets (Terms Section 2).
From other people. We do not buy data about you from data brokers. Images uploaded by other users may depict you; see Section 9 for how to request removal.
2. How we use information
- Operate the game: transmit Submissions to third-party AI model providers so their models can attempt to answer them; score, rank, and display results; run leaderboards.
- Improve and secure the Service: calibrate evaluation systems, debug, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce fair-play rules (Terms Section 7), verify Submissions for rewards (Terms Section 6A).
- Route eligible consenting-adult Submissions through blind crowd review, grade and aggregate reviewer evidence, quarantine reported items, and support final internal review. Crowd consensus does not make the final pass/fail decision.
- Build licensed datasets from eligible adult content (Section 4 below). Never from minors’ content or accountless submissions.
- Run rewards and talent programs: verification, award decisions, payments, tax reporting.
- Communicate with you: service notices, security alerts, material-changes notices; marketing email only with unsubscribe honored.
- Comply with law: tax reporting, NCMEC reporting of apparent child sexual abuse material (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), responding to lawful requests, records retention.
We do not use your personal information for third-party behavioral advertising, and we do not run third-party ad trackers on the Service.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers. Vendors who process data only on our instructions under contract: hosting and storage (Cloudflare, including image storage), authentication and database (Supabase), analytics (PostHog), email delivery, identity verification, and payment processing.
AI model providers. Your Submissions are transmitted to third-party AI model providers (such as Google and Alibaba Cloud) solely so their models can attempt to answer them, under terms that restrict use of the data to providing the service to us. Submissions from under-18 accounts are sent only through zero-retention configurations.
Authenticated adult reviewers.If you are 18 or older and separately consent to crowd sharing, we may privately show a full-frame, metadata-stripped derivative of an eligible image and its question to authenticated adult reviewers. We do not show your identity, reference answer, explanation, model output, credit amount, or other reviewers' responses.
Dataset licensees. Adult content only, account identity stripped. See Section 4.
Legal and safety. Law enforcement or others where required by law or to protect users, the public, or the Service; NCMEC as described above.
Corporate transactions. In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data transfers with the business, with notice to you (Terms Section 12).
We never share your identity, contact information, or performance history with any third party for talent-program purposes without your explicit consent at the time (Terms Section 6).
4. Dataset licensing: the part you should actually read
If you are 18 or older, content you submit may be included in datasets we license to third parties such as AI developers, to evaluate and improve AI systems:
- Images: images you submit become Rip Build’s property on submission (Terms Section 4) and may be included in licensed datasets.
- Questions and answers: included only if you turn on the dataset toggle (off by default; change it anytime in settings).
- What’s stripped: licensed datasets never include your account information (name, email, or contact details), and we strip embedded technical metadata (GPS, device info) from images first. Content within a Submission (for example, what’s visible in a photo) may itself be identifying. Do not submit anything you would not want included.
- Never included: content from under-18 accounts; accountless submissions.
California and other state residents: this licensing is a “sale” and/or “sharing” of personal information under state privacy law. You can opt out (Section 7). A verified opt-out excludes your content, including images, from all future dataset deliveries.
Once a dataset has been delivered to a licensee we cannot recall it, but on account deletion, opt-out, or a verified privacy request we exclude your content from all future deliveries and forward verified deletion requests to licensees as required by law.
We do not license, sell, or share the personal information of any user under 18, ever.
5. How long we keep it

We do not retain personal information indefinitely; each category has a scheduled end.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies for login sessions and preferences, and PostHog for product analytics (usage events, device data). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser; essential cookies are required for login. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing for residents of states that recognize them.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others), you may have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we hold about you, and get a portable copy;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your personal information. We honor verified deletion requests, including for personal information contained in images we own. Deletion is subject to legal exceptions (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention, legal compliance) and the delivered-dataset limitation in Section 4 (excluded from all future deliveries; verified requests forwarded to licensees);
- Opt out of “sale” or “sharing”: dataset toggle in settings, GPC, or email zakaria@motions.build;
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (Section 8);
- Non-discrimination: we will not deny you the Service for exercising your rights;
- Appeal: if we deny a request, reply to our decision email and a different reviewer will assess it; we respond within 45 days. You may also contact your state Attorney General.
Submit requests in settings or via zakaria@motions.build. We verify requests against your account email and login; authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization. We respond within the timelines your state’s law requires (generally 45 days, extendable once).
Everyone, no statute needed: delete your account in settings anytime (Terms Section 9); dataset toggle off anytime; leaderboard attribution opt-out anytime; unsubscribe from marketing anytime.
8. Sensitive information
We collect sensitive personal information only for payouts: government ID (identity and age verification) and SSN/TIN (tax forms). We use it only to verify eligibility, pay you, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations, never for advertising, profiling, or datasets, and we do not sell or share it.
Image safety. We do not promise automated safety scanning of every upload in v1 and do not create face templates or use facial recognition to identify people. Crowd-review derivatives are metadata-stripped; adult reviewers can report privacy or safety concerns, which quarantines the item pending internal review.
9. Children and teens
- Under 13: the Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Accounts found to belong to under-13 users are deleted along with their data. Parents: contact zakaria@motions.build.
- 13–17: minors can use the existing visual-challenge product and appear on leaderboards, but cannot perform crowd review and their Submissions are not routed to crowd review. Their content is never included in licensed datasets, never sold or shared, and their uploaded images are never publicly displayed. Their Submissions go to model providers only through zero-retention configurations. Rewards, talent programs, and dataset licensing require being 18+ (verified before any payout).
- People depicted in others’ images: if someone uploaded an image of you or your child without permission, email zakaria@motions.build. We remove it and, if it entered any dataset pipeline, exclude it from all future deliveries and notify affected licensees.
10. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and least-privilege access to submission data, logging, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and regulators of breaches as required by state breach-notification laws.
11. Changes
We’ll notify you of material changes (email or in-product) before they take effect. Material changes to how we license or sell data require fresh affirmative consent, not just notice, matching Terms Section 10. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of other changes.
